(Re)source Pavilion

As an extension to the Fifth Town Artisan Cheese Factory, the (Re)source Pavilion is an educational experiment in two distinct discourses: (1) providing an impermanent shelter for Fifth Town’s growing summertime clientele; (2) implementing sustainability throughout all aspects of a
project.

In accomplishing both objectives, the pavilion employs unique strategies of resource management - from volunteer labour to harvesting natural and local building materials resulting in a reduced construction cost by nearly 75%.
